For a vehicle that's been in production for over 80 years, you might suspect that there would be nothing new to report each year. But the classic Jeep — now the Jeep Wrangler — continues to evolve as it grows in popularity. And each new model years seems to bring some impressive improvements to the line.
What's New for the Wrangler in 2023
While there will be a lot of excitement surrounding the continuation of the new plug-in hybrid Jeep Wrangler 4xe, it's worth starting our discussion with mention of the special limited-edition Freedom Package the that Jeep will produce in 2023 for both the Gladiator and the Wrangler. These limited-edition vehicles are being created to honor America's enlisted men and women, and Jeep will make a $250 donation to military charities with every Freedom edition sold. The Freedom edition will feature military-themed exterior and interior design cues, along with some upgrades, such as LED headlamps and fog lamps, a steel winch-capable front bumper, steel rock rails, black wheels, and an American flag decal along the side of each vehicle. Military personnel will also be entitled to $500 in military bonus cash. Considering Jeep's military origins, it's only fitting that the brand acknowledge those with a shared legacy to fulfill.
The Rubicon models will get new standard and optional 17-inch wheel designs and there will be some new colors to consider: Earl (gray) and (purple) Reign.
The 2023 Jeep Wrangler models will include the Sport, Sport S, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon 392.
