Coming Soon: 2020 Jeep Gladiator Truck

If you were at the 2018 LA Auto Show and found yourself saying, "Are you not entertained?" we don't blame you, because the 2020 Jeep Gladiator Truck is coming and there's a lot to be excited about. If anyone cuts you down for looking forward to 2020 when we haven't even hit 2019, then just explain to them that the most capable midsize truck ever built is coming and it's going to be amazing. Arm yourself with these Jeep Gladiator facts.

Unmatched Capability
The Gladiator is complete with Jeep's legendary capability, Command-Trac and Rock-Trac 4x4 systems, third-generation Dana 44 axles, Tru-Lock electric front- and rear-axle lockers, Trac-Lok limited-slip differential, segment-exclusive electronic sway-bar disconnect and 33-inch off-road tires.

But what's all this mean? In a 2020 Jeep Gladiator, you will experience unmatched crawl ratios and up to 30 inches of water fording, making it possible to go - or crawl - wherever you want. Go on, ford the river, this things got four-wheel drive and them some.

Best-in-Class Towing and 4x4 Payload
While you're crawling, the Gladiator graciously offers you the ability to tow up to 7,650 pounds, while it delivers up to 1,600 pounds of payload. Hitch a trailer and load up, the Gladiator can take it.

It's a Jeep
It's a Gladiator and it's a truck but it remains authentically Jeep. Instantly recognizable are Jeep's iconic keystone-shaped seven slot grille, round headlamps, and square tail lamps. The Gladiator's rugged design only serves to strengthen its aerodynamics, if you want them, because in true Jeep form the Gladiator comes with fold-down windshield, easy-to-use premium soft top and two hardtops, and dozens of door, top and windshield combinations.

Entertainment Inside and Out
The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator includes available Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features, so you can seamlessly integrate your smartphone to your Gladiator and direct its Uconnect infotainment system in much the same way you would use your smartphone. Send and receive messages, make and take phone calls, access your music, get driving directions, and more. With smartphone integration, your Gladiator's interface will mirror the functionality of your phone.

Advanced Powertrains
Standard on all 2020 Gladiators is a six-speed manual transmission equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine, which provides a low-range torque that is often needed when driving on trails and hauling hefty cargo or towing a trailer.

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator is available in four different trim configurations - Sport, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon—and is slated to arrive in showrooms across the US in the second quarter of 2019. We know that's a long way to wait so you can either stop by our Richmond, CA Jeep dealership and speak with a member of our Jeep sales team, who'd be happy to share more facts about the Gladiator or you can enjoy this brief walk around video or you can do both. (We recommend both.) And if you like what you see, let us know. We can help you get your order in early.

See you in the showroom!
